| Welcome to A.C.M.E. Pet Services, LLC established in 2006, serving Southern Saratoga County and surrounding areas. Owned and operated by Stefanie Lesher and Lisa Harrington (that's us in the purple). We have been friends for about 15 years, both working with computers and looking for a change. We love taking care of animals and we hope it shows. That is why we are in business. We wanted pet ownership to be less stressful for people with already hectic lives. ACME came to mind as a lark. ACME? Animal Care Made Easy!! That was it, and so came our motto, ‘Animal Care Made Easier, so your pets will be happier’. | Hi, I'm Stefanie Lesher, co-owner. I live in the town of Halfmoon along with my husband Chris and a large family of animals. I grew up downstate and was transplanted to the area in 1991. |
I'm Lisa, co-owner, here with my most prized possession, Michy. We live in East Greenbush, and have for the last, .......... well, lets just say I have lived there all my life. |

| This is Michy. Michy was found on the side of a road, next to a bag of dog food late one January night in 1999 by a friend of mine. My friend was unable to keep him and asked if I would take him in. It seems in the time that she had him, they had observed the 6 month old puppy lapping up some spilt Michelob beer, so that's the name he came with. Michelob. I shortened it to Michy and am very happy it was not Heineken!! |

Cocoa is a lab mix who enjoys "her" sofa and cuddling with "Mom" and "Dad". In 2006, she tore her ACL on a hike, leading to 4 knee surgeries over 13 months.
Zoey is part rottie and is a big mush who loves to slide down grassy hills on her back, (when she is not chasing cats).

Then there’s Janet and Natalie who were given to me by a friend who found them abandoned as kittens in Queens, NY. They were malnourished but they healed quickly thanks to much love and attention. They are currently 17 years old and are still going strong.

Willy has quite the set of lungs on him! As a kitten, only weeks old, he called to us from under our neighbors shrubs. He had been crying all day and was soaking wet because our neighbor had just watered the plants. Willy was raised by Cocoa, thinks he is a dog and loves to snuggle with Zoey.

Then there is Cat. Cat is so named because we are not keeping her! We returned from a week-long vacation and found that Cat had taken up residence. She was a stray who let herself in the doggy door, found the food bowls and made herself at home. That was 7 years ago.
